Interlaken, Switzerland
Surrounded by eternal snow, lofty mountain peaks, lush alpine meadows, cool mountain streams and thundering waterfalls, Interlaken lies between two picturesque lakes in the heart of Switzerland. Soaring above Interlaken are the renown triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, all exceeding 13,000 feet.

With over 125 miles of trails, Interlaken’s ski area, the extensive Jungfrau Sport Region, plus surrounding ski areas of Grindelwald, Murren and Lauterbrunnen exceeds all winter sport vacation expectations: guaranteed snow, thrilling on- and off-trail skiing, superb snowboard parks and vibrant après ski.

Although compact, Interlaken has a good complement of hotels, health spas, comfortable restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Interlaken is a year-round resort, and winter is off-season producing one of the top resort values in Switzerland.

Hotel Oberland Centrally located in downtown Interlaken with ski shuttles just outside the door.

Jungfrau Region—Winter sport destination with a view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau encompasses probably the most impressive landscape of the Bernese Oberland. The imposing summits of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau create the setting for a highly diverse winter holiday. 213 km of slopes, 100 km of winter footpaths and roughly 50 km of toboggan runs as well as ice-rinks for skating and curling. The high-Alpine region is accessible above all via rack-railway, cable cars and gondola cableways. Finish off your day in the region with a culinary delicacy in one of he numerous mountain huts or a visit to one of the wellness complexes.
