Big Sky, Montana
Our Delta Flight will arrive in Boseman, Montana at 1:15 pm after picking up our baggage we will board our private vans for a 45 minute ride to Big Sky. We will make a stop along the way to pick up food and refreshments for our exciting stay. Our drive will take us down the beautiful Gallatin Canyon to Big Sky.

Explore the back country on snowshoes or take a relaxing sleigh ride. The choice, like Big Sky itself, is all yours.

big skyAt 11,166 feet, it’s easy to see Lone Peak’s appeal to every age and level of skier / boarder. Runs up to six miles long and glades and bowls covered in 400 plus inches of annual snowfall make a day on the slopes something different for everyone. With 3,812 acres spanning three mountains, the Big-Sky-Moonlight Basin interconnect gives you access to 21 lifts, 5,512 skiable acres and 4,350 feet of vertical drop. The sheer magnitude of the area coupled with an extensive lift system make lift lines virtually non-existent. Attention Sunday River,
Sugarloaf and Loon Mountain Season Ticket Holders...your season passes can be used at Big Sky! Please review the requirements
under Exchange Privileges.

Ski enthusiasts can compare Lone Peak’s vertical drop of 4,350’ to Vail at 3,250’, Telluride at 3,522‘, Steamboat at 3,600’, Jackson Hole at 4,139’, and Whistler at 5,278’. In addition Big Sky boasts Montana’s largest half-pipe, terrain park at 1,300 vertical feet. Using their Swiss-made Zaugg Monster Pipe Cutter, the park crew fashions the only super-pipe in the area, right off the Ram charger high-speed chairlift.

The Huntley Lodge, Big Sky’s original hotel in the Mountain Village, was built by founder Chet Huntley. The Huntley is considered the Village’s central meeting location with comfortable lobbies, two large outdoor jacuzzis and saunas, two pools, après ski activities and Chet’s Bar and Grill to provide nightly entertainment.

This year's option to stay at the Big Horn condos with lift access right outside the door is a real plus. Big Horn condos feature full kitchen, living and dining areas, fireplace and balconies or decks. As well as access to the Huntley Lodge’s pools and Jacuzzis. It’s a great place to meet up after skiing/boarding and at a great price of $1,250 (6 person 3 br 3 bath).

In addition to 10,000 square feet of slope side retail and restaurants in the pedestrian plaza, the mountain offers cross-country skiing, horseback riding, dog sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and a new zip-line. Or treat yourself to a side trip to Yellowstone Park, just 18 miles away. To view the mountain via their live web cam visit:
