About Happy Time Tours

Hello and welcome to Happy Time Tours. We are a company specializing in soft adventure tours and ski/boarding trips. We also give particular attention to our non-skiing trip participants to make sure they have an outstanding sightseeing trip.

Happy Time Tours has organized trips since 1979. In the early years most of our trips were to Quebec, Canada. However, in the past 30 years we have taken two trips per year to such exciting destinations as: Bormio, Cortina, Courmayeur, (Italy)—Chamonix, Vald'isere, Val Thornes, Courchevel, Méribel, Les Menuires, Tignes (France)—Zurs, Lech, St Anton, St Christoph, Innsbruck, (Austria)—St Moritz, Verbier, (Switzerland)—Sierra Nevada, (Spain)—Andorra, Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia, (Canada)—Norquay, Lake Louise, Sunshine, Alberta, (Canada) and Garmish (Germany). Our add on cities have included, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Vienna, Prague, Venice, and Amsterdam.

Last year’s trip to St. Anton, Austria with a side trip to Vienna was a huge success. The snow in St. Anton could not possibly have been any better and was enjoyed by skiers and boarders alike. Our meals at the Hotel Kertess and Mooserkreuz were delicious and truly outstanding as one would expect from four star hotels. We were kept happily busy skiing and boarding all the trails the Austrian Alps have to offer. We took a day trip to Italy for a unique lunch served just eleven days out of the year and a wine-tasting. It was special. That same day we continued on to Innsbruck, Austria with our favorite guide, Angelica, to view the Golden Roof of Harpsburg fame, tour the local cathedral and the Swarovski outlet. We returned to our hotels in time for dinner that evening. What a wonderful busy day we had! We especially enjoyed our guide Angelica and Peter, our bus driver, who stayed with us the entire week.

On the trip, via private motor coach, to our add-on city Vienna, we spent an afternoon in the city of Salzburg. In Vienna, our hotel Lasalle, was perfectly located on the Danube River. Some of the sites we visited were the State Opera House, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Parliament, City Hall, Mozart’s house, the Leopold Museum and the Schoenbrunn Imperial Palace. In the evening we enjoyed a concert featuring Strauss and Mozart in an historic 400 year old schoolhouse. We attended Easter Sunday Mass in St. Stephen’s Cathedral with the Vienna Boy’s Choir. The whole Vienna experience was awesome.

This year's trips to Innsbruck, Austria with the option of the additional city of Budapest promises another great experience. Click on the Innsbruck link on our Home Page for a description of this exciting trip. For those interested in the Big Sky, Montana trip, click on our Big Sky link. We keep our group sizes low, averaging 35-45 participants, to help keep the cost low and still take advantage of group pricing. We try to have one escort per 20 participants. This year we have only 42 spaces reserved for the Innsbruck/Budapest trip and 32 spaces reserved for the Big Sky trip. Please reserve early to avoid disappointment.

We act only as a booking agent for the group making sure everyone receives all the tour features listed in their trip literature. We strongly recommend trip insurance and give all participants the necessary insurance application.
